About Me
Hi, I am Bryan Mulvey, the founder of Mulvey.Dev LLC and a lifelong tech geek. Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by technology and problem-solving. My journey into IT started in high school when I taught myself Java, later switching to Python as I developed my programming skills.
Initially, I pursued a Computer Science degree at MSU Denver, but I quickly realized that my real passion was in the operations side of technology. I wanted to build and optimize the systems that power businesses, so I shifted my focus to Computer Networking and Systems Administration. That decision set me on a path where I have spent nearly a decade working in IT, specializing in automation, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and security.
Why I Do What I Do
For me, IT is not just about maintaining systems. It is about creating solutions that just work. I love the challenge of automating complex workflows, making them efficient, secure, repeatable, and accessible. Whether it is cloud infrastructure, AI-driven automation, or security implementations, I see each project as a puzzle to solve where the right combination of technology and strategy can eliminate inefficiencies and create seamless operations.
Beyond Work
When I am not architecting IT solutions, I spend time on my other interests:
- 3D Printing: Experimenting with designs and functional prototypes
- Electronics: Working with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and IoT projects
- Woodworking: Transforming raw materials into well-crafted projects
- Spending Time with My Wife and Family: Because balance matters
